Where is my data stored?
In your Google spreadsheet, in your Google account. Your copy's script reads from the platforms you connect and writes into the sheet. Tidyfield never receives your donor data.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You make a copy of a Google Sheet. It runs in Google Sheets in your browser, on Windows, Mac or Chromebook.
Why does Google say the app is unverified?
Because your copy of the script belongs to you and is not a Google Marketplace app. Here is what that means and what the script can access.
Which platforms does it connect to?
Zeffy, Givebutter and Donorbox directly. Anything else with a CSV export: PayPal, Stripe, Give Lively, Network for Good, bank exports, old spreadsheets.
Does it change anything in Zeffy, Givebutter or Donorbox?
No. It only reads.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Share the spreadsheet as you would any Google Sheet. The license covers the spreadsheet, so everyone with edit access can sync. Automatic sync runs under one person's account.
Can I add my own columns, notes and formulas?
Yes, anywhere. Syncs only update Donor Sync's own columns. Please keep its column headers as they are.
What happens after the trial?
Syncing, imports and report rebuilds pause until you enter a license key. Your data stays.
What happens if I cancel?
Your license works to the end of the paid period, then syncing pauses. The spreadsheet and everything in it stays yours.
How do updates work?
Your copy keeps working with the version it has. When a newer version exists, the sidebar tells you, and moving to it takes a few minutes.
Does it handle fiscal years and other currencies?
Yes. Choose calendar or fiscal years and the report currency in Settings.
Does it work with Excel?
No, only Google Sheets. You can download any tab as an Excel file from Google Sheets.
Is Tidyfield part of Zeffy, Givebutter, Donorbox or Google?
No. Tidyfield is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
